Smoked: Plasencia Sonador Habano Corojo Super Gordo
Smoked at: NW NJ
Not usually a big fan of huge ring gauge sticks, but was gifted a box of these as a retirement present some months back. Overall this big boy is a 7X70 with Habano wrapper, binder from Costa Rica and filler from Honduras. Solid medium and the aged tobacco (wrapper and binder aged 4 yrs and filler 5 years) provide notes of coffee and light almost sweet pepper. Combustion was good and construction solid until I damaged the wrapper taking the band off at the 2/3 point. Was still able to enjoy it with the damage..
