Smoked: Rocky Patel 60th Anniversary

Underneath this billboard is a beautiful box pressed cigar, dark chocolate brown, no veins, seams are visible but tight. Not one touch up, great draw, tons of smoke output. Unfortunately IMO, I found the 1st half of this stick to be… flat.. boring..big blasts of black pepper, which I usually enjoy, just overpowered everything else the cigar was trying to do and you can tell it was trying. Around the halfway point the burn cooled off noticeably, smoke became creamy, the pepper calmed down (still present) and allowed the milk chocolate and cinnamon along with the two year old aged tobacco to move forward. Also got a dark sweetness, molasses perhaps but just a hint.. I really enjoyed the second half of this cigar but at this price point I want a whole cigar 🤙🏻
