Cigar Reviewed: Oliva Serie V Maduro

This was the robusto. Construction was flawless. Wrapper had a nice sheen to it. Aroma was slightly sweet and nutty. During the cut and toast I noticed some spiciness. The spicy notes were evident in the first few puffs. Not over powering but enough to let you know this is going to be a good time. After the initial puffs came the slight sweetness notes leaving a nutty, creamy taste on the palate. The burn was even and the ash held a good inch or two before falling off. The last third was just as enjoyable as the first two thirds. The smoke lasted an hour plus. This was my first Oliva.
