Smoked: Ferio Tego Timeless Supreme

Smoked at: West Chester, Ohio

Ferio Tego Timeless Supreme 554 is a box pressed Nicaraguan puro with a dark brown veiny wrapper. I found one soft spot, which never caused any smoke, burn line or wrapper issues. You can’t help but love the cigar bands on the Timeless series, although I wonder about under-30s who’ve only dealt with digital time and may have never worn a wristwatch. Do they even get it? Both hands on the wheel! 10 and 2. What?

The flavors come at you quickly: More than a hint of pepper but not an overwhelming blast, nutty, wood. citrus, coffee, cream, spice/spicy pepper The retrohale is wood, nutty and peppery.

A friend gifted me a Timeless with a Broadleaf wrapper about 10 years ago when it was a Nat Sherman cigar. I thought it was a terrific smoke, but I can’t recall the exact name of that stick. The Timeless Supreme is as close as I have found to that stick. It’s a rich, bold, full-bodied, full-strength cigar. 10 years ago, I really enjoyed this kind of cigar. My palate has changed over time. I thought it was a good cigar, but not dead center in my wheelhouse any longer.
