Cigar Reviewed: Diamond Crown Maximus

Smoked at: Puget Sound, WA

The experience began even before lighting up, with slight citrus notes teasing the senses during pre-light and a subtle invitation.

Upon lighting, the cigar revealed its true character. A mild to medium spice greeted me on the retro hale, pleasantly surprising without being overwhelming.

The body of the smoke was a carried earthy and wood notes, consistent and comforting.

Another aspect of this fantastic experience was the construction of the cigar. It held together beautifully, maintaining a consistent burn that allowed me to focus on the flavors and my own thoughts, rather than the mechanics of smoking, a testament to the craftsmanship.

And then there was the band, not just a label, but a statement of elegance that announced the Diamond Crown Maximus experience. It was clear that no detail had been overlooked in creating this cigar.

The Diamond Crown Maximus Toro No. 4 was more than just a smoke; it was another path of what cigars can offer – a palette of flavors, a moment of peace, and a touch of luxury. It’s a cigar I would recommend, and I will revisit it myself in as many formats as offered.
