Cigar Reviewed: CAO Flathead

The CAO Flathead 660 is one of my favorite cigars, but I don't always have two hours to smoke one. I took a chance on buying a box of the smaller Flathead Sparkplugs (4x50) and I was very happy with my choice. Made with the same blend and wrapper as it's big brother, the aroma and cold draw yield the same sweet raison flavor as well. After the cigar is lit, the flavors of dark chocolate and earth subdue the raison as the burn progresses. I have not come across a poorly constructed Flathead of any size yet; always providing a consistent even burn and flawless wrap.

All in all, the Sparkplug is an excellent choice as a shorter 40-50 min smoke if you like a full flavored smoke a little on the sweet side!
