Cigar Reviewed: AVO Classic

Prelight aroma and flavor was light and sweet hay. Medium to hard draw after my straight cut. 1/3 This had a wonderful sweet aroma without being overpowering. Taste was hay and a slight hint of nuts. Lighter than I thought it would be. 2/3 I battled construction issues of tunneling and canoeing. I don’t have a draw tool but maybe that would have helped. Spent a good bit of time correcting with my zippo butane insert. 3/3 is where this stick got in my wheelhouse. Medium nutty flavor with creamy smoke and a hint of white pepper. This stick saved the best for last! Some uneven burn but more manageable. Overall I would have enjoyed more if the burn was even. I have 4 more from the pack to try so I will update if anything changes. Maybe I just got a bad one. For retail price I would not recommend but if you get a deal it’s not a bad stick. There are much better ones out there for the price though.
