Cigar Reviewed: Hoyo de Monterrey Oscuro

I enjoyed this cigar during a hike through the woods. I occasionally do that to help keep the bugs off.. and well, as an excuse to have a cigar. Generally I pick cheaper cigars to do this with, but I was actually given one of the these as a sampler from a local shop and figured why not. I was pleasantly surprised. Despite having this during a walk, it burned completely evenly. It did not need a single relight. I’m no expert, but I would consider this a medium + as opposed to a super dark full body. I enjoyed it very much. It has a lot of flavor on the retro and did not leave a bad taste. I will be buying some!
