A milder Maduro

Smoked: Rocky Patel Xtreme
Smoked at: The Woods of East Texas
This Rocky Patel Xtreme robusto has Honduran and Nicauraguan longfillers surrounded by a reddish Equadorian Sumatra wrapper.
Prelight the foot smelled lightly sweet, I made my V cut and took a good dry draw. It was smooth and tasted woody. It wasn't the firmest of rolls as there were a couple soft spots on the cigar.
Upon lighting, It tasted woody with a slight pepper nuance. A little uneven on the burn, but it had a nice solidly ringed ash. Upon the second third of the cigar, the smooth woody flavor began to pick up some espresso notes
and mellowed a bit. Upon the final third the pepper picked up once again and replaced the espresso, and the euphoric felling I usually get with maduros was present throughout the length of the cigar
This is another affordably priced Rocky Patel exclusive to Famous Smoke. It is a medium bodied, full flavored cigar that's not too strong or overpowering. While it has notes of pepper, it is no where near as spicey as the Rocky Patel Cuban Blend, which has a very strong pepper flavor throughout.
I will definitely get a hold of a box of these. Been finding a TON of boxes I need to get. LOL
