Cigar Reviewed: 601 red

The wrapper of this stick is slightly toothy and thick feeling, the prelight draw is perfect though using a v cutter the cap unravled but present no issue it just fell off.

First third: very spicy and peppery, full flavor rich aged tobacco and leather taste heavy&silky smoke out put. After half an inch in the pepper calms down some but is still noticable and turns into a smoother leather and slightly sweet cedar.

Short finish, no heavy after taste.

Second third begins with a medium roasted coffee, peppery spice and leather is still present but takes on more flavor of an actual black pepper taste along with it. Getting further into the it i pick up on a graphite flavor i normally get with sumatra wrapped sticks.half way into the second third Bitter black licorice and bread comes forward and strength rises here now as well. Small burn touchup here for the wavy burn.

The final third has calmed down the spice a lot a smoother walnut flavor, licorice and leather is still present but toned down.the stick has gotten a little soft and started to split on me now right before the band, Its been a intense tasty smoke and would definitely buy a box.the trick would be not to smoke through them all in 20 days.

4 stars because id have loved to smoke this to the nub it just got to wet to finish.
