The prelight on this stick smelled very nice with a dark sweetness. It had been a while since I had a maduro cigar. Upon lighting the scent was amazing, one of the better smelling cigars I’ve had. Sweet dark woody scent. The first 1/3 had a sweet chocolate taste with a toasty flavor. Construction was not the greatest as I had to touch up uneven wrapper burn/canoeing but I’m sure the thick Maduro wrapper contributed to that. The second and final 1/3 of the cigar had a smooth woody and toasty flavor. Once again I had to touch up the uneven burn several times. Overall not a bad stick for the $2 I paid for it but definitely not a top tier smoke. I loved the chocolate notes at the beginning. Good quality tobacco but lacking in construction.
