Hello, Canines of the Leaf!

I'm Jemma, 5 yr old German Shepherd, single and ready to mingle.  Pretty excited to be interviewed for Cigar World.   

I've been hanging here at Bongo Ron's pretty much my whole life; once I had some social skills and basic training... my humans brought me in.  

Special stories... too many to tell.  Probably my favorite was when Andy gently dropped a Dorito on the floor, he communicated it was mine if I wanted it; that was the day I learned humans have good food.   I like watching TV, mostly cop shows, but westerns are fun, too.  I follow anyone making a trip to the ice maker; ice is my thing.   Mostly, I like being with people.  I like to socialize and occasionally nap on someone's foot. I like it when a human allows me to smell their cigar before they light it, they think they know so much about it, but I could tell them much more! If the right canine boy came to visit, we could hang out too. 

At home, I like to monitor the yard for critters, I bark to let them know they can keep going.   When I'm outside, my mission is simple, the bigger the stick, the better; playing Chuck-It is fun, water is fun, show me a pond, and I'm in it. Springtime brings turtles, and I like bringing them inside to show my humans, who are never as excited as I am.  

Pet peeve, yes... I do have one.  My human mom put me in a princess dress at Halloween with a crown, I didn't like it and ran away to find a swamp, I never had to wear that dress again.

My favorite food comes from Butcher Chris; he finds the best "bones for dogs" any Canine could ask for; especially happy when he's at the lounge because he smells so good. But I have another favorite too, not really food but Thankful keeps these little peppermint candies in her pocket, I can smell them a mile away, and she usually gives in and lets me have one. I wish I had more time, but duty calls gotta go!
